Setting Targets

PreviousOnboardingNextSetting Scan Parameters

Last updated 1 year ago

After completion of the onboarding process, the trainee is placed in the VR environment. The first task the trainee has to complete is to set up targets in the environment.

Targets are required as the laser scanner uses them to stitch multiple scans together, creating a singular scan. To stitch two scans together, there need to be at least targets that are in common with each other.

Targets can only be placed on flat surfaces that would not move or be reflective. A green outline appears around the target if the placement is acceptable. A red outline shows if the target placement is incorrect and the target will not stick to the surface.
